is an artist living and working in Rochester, New York. In 2017 Kate received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College at Brockport with a Concentration in Ceramics. Piotr Waśniowski is a maker living in Kraków, Poland. His main focus is 3D printing with clay through which Piotr makes amazingly intricate pieces. As a self-taught artist, Sondra was not able to truly devote time to her creative journey until after retiring from her life in the business world. John Tilton was a graduate student working toward a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Florida when he was introduced to clay as an artistic medium in 1968. John subsequently took up Ceramics as a profession, earning his M.F.A. in Ceramics from the University of South Florida in 1972. John has gone on to teach classes in Mathematics at the University of Florida and in Ceramics at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL. John has been an independent studio artist since 1972. In 1978, he moved into a spiritual community, where he and his wife, Anne, still live and maintain their studio.

Roy Minarai began experimenting with making glazes and soon found that he enjoyed the process of making, testing, tweaking, and layering glazes as much as he liked making pots. Michal Karen Gelman makes contemporary functional ceramic homeware. Michal finds herself drawn to the functional, but at the same time, she sees the material, as she touches the evergreen. Ever since Tanner Gerstberger was young, he has had a yearning to create. Like many teenagers, Tanner found his first love in high school. Only Tanner's was the pottery wheel. Tanner took as many classes as he could and increased his skills to the point where Tanner was showcasing his art in local shows and competitions.Taking the plunge to being a full-time, economically challenged artist is a tough step to make. Tanner's plan was to pursue a degree in Construction Management at Colorado State University so that one day he would be able to save up enough money to do pottery full time. Dr. T was a nickname given to him by his friends in college. Eventually, word spread of Tanner's new nickname and his family decided to surprise him with a stunning, orange, neon sign as a gift, adding further sentiment to the name. Now the sign has become a symbol of Tanner's art and he realized the name Dr. T was here to stay.

Carly Slade grew up in "Big sky" Alberta, Canada. Carly's work is influenced by her blue-collar roots and plagued by a concern for the precarious nature of the working class. Using a mix of materials (most often including clay, embroidery, and building supplies), Carly creates dioramas of real places in an unreal perspective. Carly received her MFA from San Jose State University and her BFA from the Alberta University of the Arts. Kieu Tran was born in Can Tho, Vietnam and is a first generation Vietnamese American artist based in Oakland, California. Kieu  creates elegant, sensuous, biomorphic ceramic sculptures that meditate on love, connection and belonging. Her sculptural practice spans across ceramic, wood, marble and bronze. For studies, Kieu obtained a bachelor's degree in art history from UCLA and studied art while living in Italy and Germany. In 2014, Kieu followed an intriguing pull to Silicon Valley where she learned to code in 2014 and soon after became a full time software engineer. On a parallel path, she also developed a serious ceramic art practice. Immersing in the two practices side-by-side, Kieu eventually realized that she was always meant to be an artist. In January of 2021, Kieu left tech to pursue her passion of becoming a full time artist. Her ceramic sculptures have since been received with excitement and she has cultivated a growing following of enthusiastic collectors worldwide.

Sue Pryke's work is concerned with functionality and the exploration of tactile surfaces to create tableware. Sue uses slip casting as a vehicle to produce domestic ware which is a nod to an industrial method of making, but use it in a craft setting to make pared-back contemporary ware that industry would find difficult to produce. Sue is inspired by the everyday and the ordinary, tactility and utility, material qualities, and the interaction we have with objects. Small details and preferences which reflect the intuitive decision making we all make on a daily basis when choosing what cup to take from the cupboard for a cup of tea.

Micah Schedler started his pottery journey with a simple desire to learn a skill and improve. As his skills grew and his hands got smarter, Micah started to care deeply about making "nice" pots; pots that are functionally sound with good proportions and surrounding all of those things, beautiful pots. Surrounded by incredible makers in Minnesota, Micah is lucky to land in such a rich pottery tradition rooted in functional and honest pottery. Now Micah is trying to make his own pots informed by that tradition. Right now Micah makes his wares in a renovated two car garage. He uses dark stoneware covered in white slip which helps to create some visual depth in an electric kiln. The slip brings folks into those moments of making with finger marks, drips and swipes. Joy permeates his work. Micah and his partner Emma have two small kids and live in Minnesota. He works 3 days as a Registered Nurse,  a potter 2 days a week, and a tired, happy dad 7 days a week.

Amy Song is a ceramic artist working in Plainfield, IL. Amy holds a BA in studio art and ceramics from Hope College and fell in love with wood firing at Waubonsee Community College in 2013. Since leaving Camberwell College of Art in 1998 Justine Allison has been primarily working with hand-built porcelain. Justine's work addresses the boundaries between function and decoration. Form is paramount; function is a driving motivation, but it is the aesthetics of a piece that are key to Justine's making. Adero Wllard is originally from New York City and currently lives in Chicopee, MA. Adero received a BFA at Alfred University an MFA at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and was a Salad Days artist in resident at Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts in Maine. Dylan Bowen makes slip decorated earthenware using both traditional and contemporary materials and techniques. . Bianca Pintan is an artist born and raised in Brazil, now based in the coastal town of Byron Bay, Australia. Following a captivating inner-call and intuition Bianca began her journey into creating ceramic art. Having always worked hands on, the art of ceramics came naturally to Bianca, as though her hands had memorized these movements before. Christy Culp lives in western Pennsylvania and began her work with clay at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she earned her art teacher certification in 1991. Since 1997, Christy has been teaching ceramics and art classes at Deer Lakes High School. Through her teaching Christy hopes to pass her passion for clay and creating to her students. When not teaching, Christy can be found in her renovated barn studio on the small berry farm she and her husband share. Her work is directly influenced by life on a farm and her love of cooking. Milla Istomina was born and raised in Kazakhstan. Milla moved to the USA in 2013 and has been residing in Los Angeles, California. Milla took her first pottery class in 2018 at the Barnsdall Art Center. What started as a weekend hobby quickly turned into a monthly membership at a communal studio. Mist Ceramics was born, and experimenting with clays, techniques, glazes and styles has begun. Just like many people across the globe, Milla lost her full time job on the marketing team of an arts organization when the COVID pandemic struck. Betsy Morningstar loves yellow, donuts, and her cat, Vesper. Betsy's hobbies include making peanut butter, carrying her cat up into her loft studio, and smiling. Betsy is a full time high school art teacher near Baltimore, Maryland. Betsy started creating porcelain notebook papers out of a need to find and see importance in each day, and to communicate outside of herself in a physical way. Each porcelain paper features journal notes and fleeting moments from a day in Betsy's life, now forever special and permanent. The notes vary on the emotional spectrum of life, but all are significant moments Betsy never wants to forget. They are Betsy's brain and her heart in physical form.

Julie Spako and I lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and twin boys. Julie started with ceramics in High School and continued to get a minor in ceramics from Syracuse University in 1995. Julie makes high fire stoneware and porcelain serving and dinnerware. Julie loves pattern and surface texture. Julie handbuilds all of her pieces. This allows Julie a freedom in form, and the ability to concentrate on the surface design.

Jonah Fleeger is an emerging ceramic artist originally from Northwest Indiana. Jonah attended a small boarding school called Verde Valley School, in Sedona, Arizona, which is where his love for ceramics first started. In 2013, Jonah received his BFA in ceramics from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then Jonah has completed post-baccalaureate programs at The University of Colorado Boulder and Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. In 2019, Jonah received his MFA in ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design. Jonah was a resident artist at the Morean Center for Clay in Florida and a long-term resident artist at Cobb Mountain Art & Ecology Project in California. Currently, Jonah is creating, teaching and starting his own studio in Northern Arizona.

Maximilian Gureev started ceramics at the age of 35, mostly self taught without any previous art education. Since University Maximilian was working with children as a side job funning summer camps and a studio where there was always a creative process in this environment. In spring 2022 Maximilian left Russia with one big bag filled with ceramic glazes, plaster, and moulds to become full-time ceramic artist.

Dale Doering is a Colorado native and live in Loveland, Colorado, and has spent 40+ years in the construction industry building and remodeling homes. Dale took a pottery class in High School and made a few pottery pieces. About 15 years ago Dale got a chance to take a pottery class in Grand Junction Colorado and was introduced to the pottery wheel. In 2019 Dale set up a pottery studio at home. "My aim is to elevate everyday objects, to make the ordinary just a little more extraordinary.”  Juliann Roush is a Northern Michigan based ceramic artist. Juliann began studying pottery in her senior year of college at Eastern Michigan University in 1989 as a way to “kill” some time, but became hooked on the medium. Juliann continued her ceramic education at City College of San Francisco from 1992-1997 where she honed her skills and worked as a lab tech. Initially Juliann's career trajectory was in International Marketing and Japanese, however keeping her hands in clay has always been a high priority side hustle. Finally in 2019 after moving back to Michigan, Juliann took the leap and became a full time potter. Juliann is a self proclaimed maximalist. Most of her work is handbuilt with slabs and has a very distinct style using lots of texture and bright colors. Often Juliann's work has a positive encouraging message, giving a little insight into her cheerful personality and joy of making and sharing her methods.

Andres Montenegro was born in Lima, Peru and moved to Florida in 2004. Andres began working with clay at Seminole State College and graduated with a BFA in Ceramics from the University of Central Florida in 2016. In May 2019 Andres received his MFA from Bowling Green State University, specializing in three dimensional studies in ceramics, and sculpture. During his MFA studies Andres taught his first college level classes. Teaching college level for the first time, Andres realized working with clay and teaching was a two part passion. After graduating, Andres has been working as a Ceramics Adjunct Professor at Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, and at Jane’s Art Center in New Smyrna FL. He sells his work locally and nationally through his online store and galleries. Andres currently resides in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Janina Myronova is a ceramic artist born in Ukraine and living in Poland. In 2012 Janina received her MFA from the Department of Ceramic Art at Lviv National Academy of Fine Arts (Lviv, Ukraine), an MFA from the Department of Ceramics and Glass at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts and Design (Wroclaw, Poland) in 2013, and her PhD from the Department of Ceramics and Glass at Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in 2019. Continually developing her work and practice, Janina has attended numerous residencies including opportunities’ at the New Taipei Yingge Ceramics Museum (New Taipei, Taiwan), Clayarch Gimhae Musem (Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea), Lefebvre and Fils (Paris, France), the Polish Sculpture Centre (Oronsko, Poland), and the International Ceramic Research Center (Guldagergaard, Denmark).

Maria Diletta Rondoni is an Italian artist based in Umbria, Italy. After graduating at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia in 2012-majoring in painting–her artistic research explored possibilities from different materials, such as ceramic, metal working, and glass. Maria Diletta focused her interest in clay taking ceramics classes in Deruta where she learned ancient techniques such as Etruscan bucchero and terra sigillata. In 2017 Maria Diletta studied porcelain techniques at the Ceramic Art School “Romano Ranieri” in Deruta and at the FACC-Faenza Art Ceramic Center, Faenza, Italy. Over the last few years Maria Diletta traveled to Europe, Sri Lanka, and Australia. These travels inspired her aesthetic vision. Maggie Frampton is an English potter who trained 50 years ago. 10 years later Maggie's family got together to start Folly Pottery which is still going today, despite Maggie actually retiring three times! Lee Wolfe has been a studio potter for 40 years. Lee's ceramic work emerges from the organic beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains where she lives in Asheville, North Carolina. Curious Clay, founded by Jannalyn Bailey, was born out of an intense love of the handmade form and the desire to make attainable art objects. As a former painter, the presence of the artist's hand in Jannalyn's works is very important to her. Both the clay form and the glaze application retains the gesture from Jannalyn's hand.  Being somewhat self-taught, Jannalyn's work is primarily slab-built with some element of hand forming/sculpting.  Jannalyn hopes her works can live in new homes, and be a part of the slower moments in the day, whether it's your morning cup of coffee or afternoon meditation.  Jannalyn finds great joy in creating one of a kind pottery, and her hope is that that joy comes through.

Julia Claire Weber, founder of Julia Claire Clay is a part-time studio potter, full-time mama, and part-time gallery manager at Odyssey Clayworks in Asheville, NC. Prior to her long-term artist in residence at Odyssey Clayworks, Julia was studio manager of Clayspace in Erie, Pennsylvania and graduated with a BFA in ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Author of “The Beginners Guide to Wheel Throwing”, Julia's biggest professional accomplishment to date!

Nicole Pangas is a full time artist and studio potter living and working in Detroit, Michigan. Nicole has been a studio artist for over 30 years, and an Etsy Seller since 2010. Nicole earned her BFA in ceramics, printmaking, and painting from The Cleveland Institute of Art. Nicole studied drawing and ceramics at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and stone carving, poetry, and photography at the LaCoste School of Arts in LaCoste, France. Nicole moved to Detroit after her studies to become Artist-in-Residence at Pewabic Pottery where she also worked as master potter and ceramics instructor. Nicole’s work has encompassed the realms of printmaking, painting, collages, handmade tiles, sculpture, pottery, and drawing. Nicole was introduced to art first as a draftsman while in high school. She found her love of clay as an art major at the Cleveland Institute of Art.

Paulina Gobiecka, born on the 13th November 1987 in Warsaw, is a ceramic, sculptor, and ceramic instructor at the Garden of Arts ceramic studio in Warsaw, Poland. Paulina has graduated from Sculpture Faculty, The Academy of the Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2015. At the moment Paulina is building her own wood-fired kiln.

Currently residing in Las Vegas, Constance Stotzer graduated from California College of Arts and Crafts with a BFA and a major in sculptural ceramics. After a few years teaching special education Constance transitioned into becoming an Art Specialist in elementary school. Constance was involved with the foundation of Clay Arts Vegas, a local ceramic studio and loving clay community. Currently, Constance is a high school ceramics instructor.

Michelle Valigura is a sculptor, with a primary focus on ceramics. Her background designing for stop motion animation (including Elf, and the Simpsons) and her love of mid century design have built a foundation for a strong sense of color and aesthetics that can be seen translated in her work. In 2007 she formed her own design company Switcheroo, which led to licensing her work to to Disneyland, Kidrobot, Paradise Toys, and other art brands. She has exhibited her work, lectured and taught workshops at galleries, museums, and universities worldwide. In 2019 Michelle moved back to her roots in the Pacific Northwest where she opened Basalt that functions as her working studio and showroom in downtown Cannon Beach. Along with her work she features other artists and crafts of locals and people she has met in her career that she admires.

Dee Hunt is a retired lady in her 60’s who found clay some 20 years ago when she worked in the commercial world. Making pots became Dee's way of keeping sane! Now those working days are over and Dee can devote her days to being in her studio.  Dee hand builds with stoneware clay and makes unusual and contemporary vessels for both home and garden. Dee's inspiration comes from her environment… the textures and colours she uses are indicative of the agricultural and coastal landscape where Dee lives.
